Technical notes: The work starts with a hand selected picking and a long pre-fermentative cold maceration. After low temperature fermentation (25-26 ºC) it ends with an aging of 12 months in French and Hungarian oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: Red cherry color with purple hues. An intense fruity nose of berries highlight in a still glass. Vanilla and spicy notes indicate its time in oak. First taste is fresh and fleshy with a mineral aftertaste. Long wine.

Service: Serve between 14 and 16ºC
Aging Potential = 2 - 4 years

Vineyard: The grapes come from the subzone Clariano belonging to the DO Valencia, more specifically the place "Los Almendros" in the case of Malbec (NW-SE direction) and in the case of Syrah (NE-SW), both young vines 7 years; and the place of "El Pla" in the case of the Monastrell, 17 years old strains. In the case of Bobal they are old low-performance strains (60 years old) found in "La Vallesa" (subzone Utiel-Requena). The fields are clay with some limestone outcrops, large horizons of high porosity, low in organic matter. The presence of limestone is slightly higher in the field of Monastrell.

Weather: 2011 was a very good medium red varieties cycled (Syrah, Malbec), with a fresh start spring cycle with good rainfall, dry and moderate summer temperatures, taking join maxims of 35 year in late August. Rains respected our harvest and were most noticeable from the last week of October. On Vallesa there was abundant rainfall in spring. 210 mm were recorded until the harvest date. In Vall dels Alforins was no water stress achieving a balanced ripening grape and good grades in red (rainfall amounted to 240 mm to the harvest date).
